This type of survey
locates that corners and boundary lines of a given parcel of land. This
survey involves record and field research, measurements, calculations to
establish the boundary line in conformance with the State law and local
ordinances. Easement lines may also be established and/or located with
this type of survey.
Topographical:
Topographical surveys
locate topographical features such as elevations, contours of the land,
trees, fences, buildings, improvements and water bodies. This type
of survey is generally used by a government agencies, engineer and architects for
design of developments or improvements on a site.

Construction:
Vertical and
horizontal location of constructed items for developments such as roads, buildings, pipelines, utilities, etc.
May also include GPS control of construction equipment.
Subdivision:
The process of
subdividing a tract of land into several smaller parcel of land. This type
of survey consists of survey
data and documentation on a map conforming to local ordinances.
Site
Plan:
Site plan surveys
combine topographic and boundary/land surveys for the use and preparation
of designing developments or improvements.
Accident:
Detailed surveys of
accident sites.
